CIVIL & COMMERCIAL MEDIATION

Mediation

Anybody who has a dispute can benefit from mediation, and as over 85% of mediations result in mutual agreements the people involved save thousands of pounds in legal fees, not to mention the time and stress involved with going to court.

Below is just a handful of the numerous scenarios where mediation can resolve disputes:-

Poor workmanship

Landlord and tenant disputes

Faulty goods or poor services

Road traffic accidents - liability

Not being paid for work carried out

Disputes between neighbours over boundary lines

Issues in the workplace (as workplace mediation is a slightly different process click here for more details)

How long does mediation take?

Mediation normally takes a day of your time (sometimes only half a day) and is completely impartial, totally confidential and doesn't stop you going to court if you really want to. You can read more about the process here. Please feel free to give us a call or send an enquiry on the form below if you'd like us to help.

Is mediation expensive?

On average a full day's mediation will cost each party around the same as your first 2 hours with a Solicitor, so is extremely cost-effective when compared to taking legal action when an agreement is reached (over 85% of cases).
