With more than 30 years’ experience in industry as senior people leaders, enabling change at executive level and leading large teams in blue chip and medium sized businesses, we’ve regularly seen the fantastic success that can be achieved through people’s willingness and ability to understand other people.
The true root cause of all cultural issues are people related, and most come down to our ability to effectively communicate, listen and engage - and then to apply pragmatism in how we execute decisions.
We’ve been at the ‘coal face’ facilitating difficult discussions between individuals, teams and with Trade Unions nationally. What we’ve learnt through our many ‘real-life’ experiences is that if you believe in root cause, ask the right questions and understand people’s beliefs rather than just their positions, it’s possible to achieve sustainable solutions which are often beyond expectation.
Pragmatism isn't only our name it’s our ethos - it means dealing with things sensibly and practically. It doesn’t mean being ‘soft’ but it does mean being realistic – and this is where understanding people is key.
