Most organisations we have worked with have people and cultural change at the top of their agenda, and they fully understand that creating the right environment for employees to give their best will result in a happier and healthier workforce.
They also understand that if those employees were driving towards the same vision and working under the right values of the organisation then the organisation's strategy is achievable. It's all a great theory - unfortunately the challenge of making it happen can be frustrating.
We've often been asked to look at processes such as communication structures, cascade processes and how messages are written - all of which are very important, and we can help you to develop these. However, there's little point having the most amazing set of communication documents written by the best authors and displayed on the most wonderful noticeboards if people aren't engaged.
Too often we see the people issues avoided and a constant changing of processes to fix the issues - we see it the other way around - give us a scrap of paper and an engaging leader to deliver an important message in the right way any day - the easy bit is putting the structure in place. We love helping organisations to do both.
Our engagement blueprint gives a structure to work with, but it isn't a box-ticking theoretical exercise - such things are against our ethos, it's there to enable an achievable plan for improving engagement and we'd love to be on the pitch with you delivering that plan.
Below is a snapshot of some of the areas we explore as part of our blueprint. Whilst we have our areas that we'd look at from our experience we'd also need to know your particular areas of concern for your employees and leadership team:-
'Day in the life' of a typical people leader
Flexibility - terms & conditions / culture
Goals and interests
Communication structure and process
Environment for engagement
Vision and values
We prefer to do all the 'dry' data gathering beforehand so we can maximise our time together in your business talking to people and really getting a feel for the true culture of your organisation. If you'd like to discuss this further please give us a call, send us a message on our enquiry form or drop us an email and we'll talk about how we can help.
